Troops bound to get FAT...
I swear all anyone thinks we need out here in Afghanistan is FOOD. We get care packages every single day with nothing but JUNK food in them. Thank goodness today is the day prior to my first weigh in. A package came in the mail today for our shop and guess what was in the box? Home made Red Velvet Cake made with butter milk. I'm pretty sure if today was not the day prior to my first weigh in I would have taken a piece and called it dinner.

glad i could motivate you! :)
Ahh yes. I've sent quite a few care packages to my cousin who's in Iraq. Filled with home made yummies. Though I wonder if they're any good by the time they get there. So if any of my goodies happened toget to you I'm terribly sorry! Ha! I had to get them out of my house :)
GREAT work resisting temptation though. Soon it will just be second nature (at least that's what I keep telling myself...)
Haha! Thank goodness for weigh-ins then! You must tell them to start sending you things you really need, like....well, what do you really need? (Note to self, don't send more cookies...)
Good job on resisting temptation. I know I failed last night with Elvis's birthday cake. Yes, I had the tiniest piece, but honestly, I was so full I should have just said no! Keep up the good work Michelle!
Oh man red velvet is hard to resist. You know what is funny about the food thing..that is the impression that is given, is that food is needed. How funny. The butterscotch lifesaver is funny. :)
